The Hunts Point Conservancy

One of the last intact Hunts Point estates of the nineteen-thirties, held by three families across nine decades and restored over four years with the original millwork drawings in hand.

Three acres of mature planting enclose a Georgian house of genuine ceremony: a panelled library, an enfilade of formal rooms, and a loggia that opens onto a tennis lawn and a private Lake Washington dock. Contemporary systems have been threaded through invisibly — the house is fully current without a single anachronistic detail on view.
